I went online and gathered info on kicks of 2014 which I favour from nike to vans and reebok…these are by far the 2014 designs which enlightened and impressed me Alot.

First up are the Puma Trinomic R698.

PUMA added to the visual technology boom with the Trinomic sole and its comfortable, yet stylish appeal. Sitting atop a white Trinomic midsole with a contrasting black EVA outsole, its tonal upper combines mesh, leather and nubuck materials for texture.

Vans California 2014Holiday “Hickory Mix” Packs

Dubbed the “Hickory Mix,” this capsule collection pairs a soft black suede with a blue hickory-striped textile, a material typically seen on overalls and carpenter jeans. Both models will be available at select retailers during the month of October for $70 USD (approximately R770 ZAR) and $80 USD (approximately R880 ZAR) respectively.

Nike 2014 Air Max 90 Sneakerboot Black/Grey-White

The Air Max 90 sneakboot features a thorough weatherproofing treatment, making it ideal for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. Nike Blazer Mid Premium Vintage “Safari” Collection

These are a “Safari” collection for October 2014 From Nike Sportswear. Featuring the Blazer Mid Premium Vintage, the pack sees a trio of executions: a preying feline, slithering predator, and a pair representing the jungle itself. Premium materials figure prominently throughout as full-grain leather, rich nubuck and tough TPU overlays are joined by leopard prints, pony hair, snake-like scales, camouflage and more. The Blazer Mid Premium Vintage “Safari” collection is set to hit NSW retailers on the 11th of October for $100 USD (approximately R1100 ZAR) per pair

Vans California Sk8-Hi Zip CA“Boot Leather” Collection

These are an update to the popular Sk8-Hi Zip. The use of just a single color and a zipper detail in the back gives the classic silhouette a contemporary feel. The panels on the upper feature soft tumbled leather, and a tonal vulcanized sole to match. Additional features include soft leather lining and a gold-colored YKK zipper pull for easy access. Maison Martin MargielaBlack Leather Integrated Neoprene Replica Sneakers

The high-end fashion house has recreated its hallmark sneaker with a neoprene inner sock built in, thereby rendering the shoe a mid-top for added comfort and security. At the exterior, the sneaker is done up with 100% leather through the paneled upper, resting atop a foxed rubber outsole. Robert Geller x Common Projects 2014 Fall/Winter Collection

Robert Geller has teamed up with Common Projects once again, to release his 2014 fall/winter shoe collection. Best known for the clean and minimalistic takes on iconic silhouettes, the latest offering includes a Chelsea boot and a high top sneaker, priced at $980 ( R10780 ZAR) and $720 (R7920 ZAR) respectively. Both of the shoes come in two colorways and are available for purchase atSSENSE

adidas Originals EQT Running Cushion ’91 “Snake Pack”

adidas Originals has made a contemporary iteration to its EQT Running Cushion ’91 model via this “Snake Pack.” The uppers comprise predominantly of breathable mesh and leather, while snake skin print accents are tastefully implemented on areas such as the Three Stripes, toe, tongue and rear. Moving down, we find clean white midsoles paired with contrasting black outsoles to finish off the look release date is unknown yet.

Nike x Supreme

Taken from Volume 22, the image show the iconic basketball high top in three colorways — black, white and red. Bold words reading “World Famous” take on the sneaker’s ankle strap, while Supreme branding is seen across the tongue tag, AF1 lace lock, and further punctuated by block letters across the heel. The Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 High collection is scheduled for a late October release, with the black and white available from Supreme flagships worldwide, and the red from Nike Lab and select retailers. The price is yet to be confirmed.

Acapulco Gold x Nike SB Dunk High “Mowabb”

Decked out in a premium suede upper, the Grain/Black-Sandtrap-Bright Mandarin colorway embodies the ACG classic with additional aesthetic cues like rope lacing and a speckled midsole. Complete with “AG” embroidery along the lateral side of the shoe, the Acapulco Gold x Nike SB Dunk High “Mowabb” was released on Wednesday, October 1 in limited quantities.

visvim 2014 Fall/Winter FBT SHAMAN-FOLK

visvim released its latest iterations on the FBT SHAMAN-FOLK model with some new details on the iconic shoe. Made from premium UK cowhide suede, the hand-sewn, moccasin foot wrap shoe features contrast beaded detailing on the toe, while the signature fringe on the ankle incorporates precision-cut incisions. The shoe then sits atop a custom rubber sole with a TPU heel stabilizer. Finishing touches include pigment-free calf linings for extreme breathability and a natural cork footbed. Available in black, dark brown, brown and sand, the visvim 2014 fall/winter FBT SHAMAN-FOLK is now available to purchase online for $630 USD.

Reebok GL 6000 Mid “Flash Red”

Reebok premiered the GL 6000 Mid in a vibrant flash red colorway with boot-like upgrades. Aside from its taller silhouette and eye-grabbing color choice, this reimagined runner features contrasting brass D-ring eyelets and a construction that blends suede, leather and neoprene for a winterized makeover. Additional details include a padded sockliner with heel tab, a contrasting white sole unit, and subtle branding throughout. A sneaker-boot hybrid done just right, the Reebok GL 6000 Mid “Flash Red” is currently available at select retailers.

New Balance 530MD

The 530MD’s are an addition to New Balance’s collection of retro-inspired running silhouettes. Reviving the original 530 design from 1992, the 530MD features breathable ribbed mesh and leather and suede overlays on the upper. Orange accents on the tongue label and side cutouts contrast with blue branding on the side and the reflective counter to create visual interest. Below, a trademark midsole containing the ENCAP support system is rounded off with an outsole of orange and black. The shoe is available at retailors around the globe.

Converse 2014 Chuck Taylor All Star Color Weave Collection

Converse has unveiled a new look to its Chuck Taylor All-Star silhouette. It is the first of its kind to utilize colorful weave complexion and will be first released in Asia-Pacific region. Enlisting the help of stunning hand-woven craftsmanship, the iconic silhouette is re-imagined using contrasting egret color strips to create a modern, bold rainbow-textured upper. The sneaker is offset by a crisp, solid midsole and toecap, and finished with white accents at the heel tab, lining, logo patch and tongue label. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Color Weave became available at Converse stores in China and South Korea on October 1 and will be available at the Converse China online store on October 8, and followed by a release in Hong Kong and Taiwan from October 17. Prices for China will be set at $800 RMB approximately $130 USD (approximately R1430 ZAR) for the high-top and $770 RMB approximately $125 USD (approximately R1375 ZAR) for the ox.
