I See A Different You is a “project” formed by Vuyo Mpanthsa, Innocent Mukheli and his twin brother Justice Mukheli. It was somewhere last year when I overheard these guys’ interview on some radio station. I felt intrigued and hooked by their interview that I had to google them. The results I got, astounding! I instantly followed them on social networks.

It brings so much pleasure to discover people who see things differently from the way the society does. These guys are on some other undefinable level of epic photography. They make “ugly” look “impressive”, “old” look “new”, “dull” look “lively”. I with no doubt can safely say these are our definite Old School Future feature. I could say a lot about these unique guys but DO check them out.

You might have seen or heard about “SZA” somewhere or from someone. If you haven’t then have no worry because today we do a short entry on the very talented TDE signee who is popularly know by her stage name ‘SZA.’

Well, who is she?
Real name: Solana Rowe
Born: 8 November 1990
Origin: Maplewood New Jersey

She has since released 2 EPs independently titled See.SZA. Run(2012) and S(2013).
Rowe released a much anticipated 3rd EP in April this year under Top Dog Entertainment.

I simply do not have the right words to describe her music because she is still new and still remains an enigma to me. I have also just been introduced to the PBR&B and Neo Soul which Rowe is popular for.

What I can confidently say is that her music is warm, soulful glitchy
and mysteriously sweet. SZA’s music is not the typical “turn up,” it’s filled with little secret excitements that one would wish lasted longer but she remains in control and only gives away a bit of herself.

We over here at N.A.H certainly look forward to more music from this beautiful soul.

DARE I SAY ISAIAH RASHAD IS KING?

King of what? I don’t know, I just thought the title sounded smart. So I stumbled on a video of the BET 2013 Cypher on YouTube. Of course, Kendrick’s verse was crazy but I was more interested in a short dude that reminded me a lot of Kanye West.

All thanks to Google, I got his debut mixtape called Cilvia Demo. One listen and I was hooked. A single called Tranquility pretty much summarizes the rapper’s music.

I’m not saying he’s the next Jay Z but the Chattanooga, Tennessee born Isaiah Rashad McClain is definitely a rapper of note.

Here’s a link to his latest offering
